Attending anime related events, and promoting own organization

A new aspect in my life is taking up all my time lately. And I am stressed out and loving it at the same time.

Since two years back, I have stepped out of an event organisation were I wasen't getting along with the current chairman. No hard feelings, but we both had different visions about what kind of events we wanted to host, or how an organisation should be run. And you can't have two captains on one ship, so we decided to go our seperate ways. We still help eachoter out tho.

But ever since last year I have founded my own organisation. And it was really a huge step. I didn't know I loved doing this kind of thing before I joined the previous org. But I really love hosting events. I really love bringing people together and giving them a good time.

And I love to see my friend have a feeling of doing someting that they love. Instead of doing a mindless job, every day in and out. Or going to class and not even knowing anymore why they even try, because no one is gaurenteed a good life.

But really. Hosting these events has really givin me a purpose in life. First I thought I was going to be a graphic designer. I really love art, but I really want to create a world/place where people could be happy and feel moments of joy. Sure art can do that. But I came to realize that hosting events, and putting everything together. The themes, the activities, the funfactor, the graphics, everything involving the hosting is a form of art. A real work of art that people can live and enjoy. ...well that how I see it tho. And events can be whatever there is to be desired. In every kind of theme there is. And they make sense! Because people who attend these events have a passion for the theme. So it makes sense to them. And to see that it makes sense you need some sort of intelligence. Everything makes obvious intelligent sense.

So I named the org Makes Obvious Intelligent Sense Tho. M.O.I.S.T. because it does. You can't argue about it because it makes sense. Intelligent sense tho. Obviously.

But anyway back to attending other events. There is this upcomming event we are hosting and we are currently in the promotion fase. We are going to all sorts of conventions to promote our event. And it has been really amazing! I have never been to so many anime/manga/Japan related events and conventions in my life as laat year. Best part. I got in for free! Because I am smooth like that. So smooth I'm Moist. ... Oke nvm that was almost funny.

But really anime conventions are the best. I love the people there, the atmosphere, all the kawaii and cool stuff from dealers, and all the hotties in cosplay ;p (oh geez now I sound like a perv)

We have been getting great responses for the minigames we play at our table. And the event is being tagged as original. And people are glad that there is an new event that is not a new con.

Lately I have been crafting alot. Never knew I had skills for that. Because we are low on money I decided to craft all the displays for the table. And boy! Now I know how cosplayers feel when they are stressing ouf over there costumes. Everybody is posting how they need to do so much for the costumes they wanna wear. And I'm sitting here like. I gotta finnish my display! But its fun. Really ^^ Especially when people compliment us at our table for making the stand so cute ^/^

It's also been a great help for despression. And the feeling of not having accomplished anything at my age.

Oh well life sucks. But thank you God for anime and those who love it. Bless them!

Hope you enjoyed this post if you read it :)
